Teacher Encounters: Bringing Careers to Life with Morgan Sindall
Educators visited the Morgan Sindall Reading Library Refurbishment site to explore educational-industry partnerships and discover diverse career opportunities in construction. The inspiring day included presentations, a guided site tour, and hands-on insights that teachers could bring back to their classrooms to enrich student learning.
Teacher Encounters at Mars Wrigley: Bridging Education and Industry in Berkshire
Berkshire Careers Hub facilitated a successful Teacher Encounters event at Mars Wrigley’s Slough facility, where nine local teachers gained firsthand insights into manufacturing careers and apprenticeship opportunities. The day-long immersive experience demonstrated the programme’s effectiveness in strengthening connections between education and industry, benefiting both teachers and employers in preparing students for future careers.
