The employer demand for green skills is already on the rise – and this is also being matched by a growing interest from young people (Gen Z) wanting to pursue roles that contribute positively to the environment.
Apprenticeships could be the perfect way to identify individuals from diverse backgrounds who have the potential and interest in acquiring green skills, and to then design apprenticeship programmes and support structures that enable those individuals to gain skills and progress their careers.
