Leadership and Management Skills Bootcamp

Who is the course for – This course is for anyone in a management or leadership role who is keen to develop their people management skills and increase their confidence in this challenging but fascinating role. The aim is to enable you to be the best leader you can be, increase your enjoyment of leadership and inspire the highest levels of performance from your team.
Entry requirements – Must be 19+ and be resident of Berkshire. There are no pre-qualification requirements. All you need is to be already working as a manager, or to be keen to develop your career in management. Courses are available for junior/middle or senior management.
How you will learn – Your course will be delivered face-to-face in a workshop environment, with lots of involvement and discussion with people who are in similar roles across Berkshire. We will also work together on a range of developmental activities such as coaching, action learning and on management communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

What you will need to bring – The course will work best if you are able to access our electronic portfolio on your own laptop or other device.
How you will be assessed – The ILM qualification is achieved through producing written assignments, with some additional verbal discussion and evidence from the workplace where appropriate.
